PARIS – A few hours after Emmanuel Macron’s re-election, the great maneuvers for the legislative elections have already begun. Defeated in the presidential elections but with 41.5 per cent of the vote in the ballot, Marine Le Pen is already in the campaign to become the first opposition force in Parliament. The far-right leader has announced that at the parliamentary elections in June she will be a candidate for his re-election in the constituency of Pas de Calais, in the north, where she had obtained 58.60% of the votes five years ago.
