Oh dear, someone must have looked too deeply into the glass. Gabriel Kelly – 22-year-old offspring of Angelo Kelly – caused a commotion before his last live show. He celebrated with his dance partner in his hotel room – then it got loud!
Anyone who takes part in “Let’s Dance” needs courage, perseverance and discipline. One would think so. But the popular RTL dance show is no longer just about dancing. When you train together so often, friendships develop. Like Gabriel Kelly and his dance partner Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24). And there can be one or two parties after work…
Gabriel Kelly: Frustration after “Let’s Dance” training had to come out
In their hotel in Cologne, however, the two young dancers seem to have overdone it a bit. In the RTL program “Point 12” celebrity expert Stephanie Brungs: “Ann-Kathrin was a bit frustrated after the training. Gabriel wanted to change her mind. Then they were on the Rhine with a few drinks. Later in the hotel room Played drinking games and danced a lot.” Everything happened two days before the live show.
Kelly’s son is insightful
Unfortunately, the two apparently forgot that they found each other in a hotel, because it was apparently really loud: “It got so loud that there was a noise complaint,” says Brungs. A few young people partying a little – they could have talked their way out of it. But Gabriel is insightful and admits on RTL that they “took a quick look into the glass”. The professional dancer said: “My friend was downstairs in the room and he was like, ‘Dude, it was so loud!’ And I thought, ‘Oh, that was Gabriel and me.'” The reason for the disturbance was that the two had been practicing jive kicks all night.

In the end there was no trouble. Good luck to both candidates! Her dance colleagues didn’t notice anything: “They just asked themselves: ‘Huh, why weren’t we invited?'” Stephanie continues. “They say that something like that two days before the show is still perfectly fine. One day before the show would have been really difficult.” Dancers just stick together!
