Bayer Leverkusen successfully advanced to the final DFB Cup 2023/2024. This certainty was obtained after Die Werkself massacred Fortuna Dusseldorf 4-0.
Bayer Leverkusen hosted the Bundesliga 2 team, Fortuna Dusseldorf, in the DFB Pokal semifinals at BayArena, Thursday (4/4/2024). The hosts immediately took the initiative to attack from the start of the match.

In the final round, they will meet another Bundesliga 2 club Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern first secured a ticket to the final after beating third caste club Saarbrucken 2-0 in the semifinals.
The final match of the DFB Pokal this season will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on 26 May. Xabi Alonso has a big chance of giving Leverkusen their first trophy in this match.
