KRAKOW – Poor Pawel. Few people now recall his glorious past as a sulky rock star. In these hours, Kukiz’s slogan for the 2015 election campaign, his solemn promise that “if I become a politician, spit in my face and call me a whore”, has become a meme. The former musician on loan to populism, a great friend of the Grillini, ended up in the spotlight for having voted, together with his small party Kukiz 15, in favor of the law that intends to expel the only television still free from Poland: the American TVN.
