Lily Gladstone or Emma Stone? – FASHION WORLD

For the fourth consecutive time, we will have emotions in the dispute over Oscar for Best Actress. Lily Gladstone took home the SAG Awards on Saturday for her performance in “Killers of the Flower Moon.” She beat Emma Stone, winner of the BAFTA, Critics Choice and Golden Globe for “Poor Creatures,” at awards shows in recent months. As a result, both are going head-to-head in industry awards.

But when SAG and BAFTA are at odds, which one has a better chance of winning the Oscar?
Since BAFTA became a barometer at the Oscars 23 years ago, the British awards and the American actors’ union have failed to agree 13 times in the Best Actress dispute.
In some cases, the film was not eligible (under UK rules) or, if it was eligible, actresses were snubbed in the competition, as was the case with Gladstone exactly this year. There have also been confusions among studios when it comes to defining categories in which the actress best fits – such as Best Actress or Supporting Actress.
