“Terminator” creator James Cameron (69) stated last year according to ScreenRant that he was in the process of writing the script for a new “Terminator” film, but so far no film studio has confirmed that they are going for round 7.
If there will be a new film in the action adventure, cinema audiences will have to do without Linda Hamilton in the role of the heroine Sarah Connor.
– I’m finished. Completely finished. I have nothing more to say. The story has been told, and it has been told to death, she adds Business Insider.
– Why anyone would want to relaunch it is a mystery to me. But I know that Hollywood these days is based on relaunches, she adds.

Linda Hamilton played the role of action heroine Sarah Connor in the first two films (1984 and 1991). Arnold Schwarzenegger starred as the killer robot from the future hunting Connor.
In the next three films, however, she shone with her absence. But in 2019 she made a comeback – in “Terminator: Dark Fate”.
– It felt right to get up again. I needed some time to make up my mind because today I live such a quiet and withdrawn life, Hamilton stated at the time.

The character Sarah Connor has gained icon status, but Hamilton himself believes that it is an undeserved label.
– I really feel – and have always felt – that Sarah Connor is not an icon, she adds Business Insider.
– She is one hell of a woman, and she makes some really bad choices. She is not a good mother, she is a good warrior, says the 67-year-old.
Hamilton appreciates that the audience respects the character’s “strength and power”.
– I created a warrior, but she is very imperfect. She is an imperfect person.
The ex-husband at the helm
James Cameron was very happy to have his ex-wife join the team in “Terminator 6” in 2019. The two were married from 1997-1999.
– Considering how much Linda Hamilton meant to action and women at the time, it will be a huge statement that the warrior woman she has become is now returning, he stated when the news became known in 2017.
Now he has to manage without it.
