When the show starts explosively, it’s a good sign. But for this to be sustained, the energy must remain up there all the time. Thanks to the charisma of the vocalist (and actor) Jared Letoo Thirty Seconds to Mars managed to do this in his presentation at the Lollapalloza Brazilon the night of this Saturday, 23.

With a shiny silver cape, Jared Leto arrived like a superhero, with his fist in the air and asking fans to jump to the music Up In The Air. The light show, pyrotechnics and even black balloons incorporated the presentation and made it even more grand.

The singer has an eccentric persona, but no less: he is an actor, a true showman: walks from side to side, interacts with the camera and knows how to command an audience. This helps the show even more than his voice, which is good, but also lacking. When he asked fans to raise their fists and shout “This Is War”, introducing the song of the same name, the audience followed without a second thought.
Rescue Me came with the request for three fans to come on stage. “The wildest ones”, asked the singer, who did not hesitate and interacted with the admirers who wanted to record the moment alongside him with their cell phones. Already in Walk On Water, displayed the Brazilian flag. In fact, there was no shortage of praise for the country, with phrases like “Brazil, perhaps you are the best audience in the whole world” and “Can we come back tomorrow and do this show again?”.

Leto wore the Brazilian shirt, with the number 12 and Marcelo’s name, giving a spoiler of what was to come. In the somewhat random encounter, the player took to the stage and, at the singer’s request, told the audience to “go crazy”.
They came Attack e Stuck before The Kill, great success for the band. At this moment, the highlight of the performance, Leto came down from the stage and “went to the crowd”, going up to the big one and singing with the fans. To finish, he called at least 20 people to come on stage, ending the show with Closer to the Edge.
It’s great when an artist appreciates who put them there and Thirty Seconds to Mars did that. It was a true spectacle, which, with Leto’s charisma, could entertain even a casual spectator.
