London, the High Court overturns the verdict that blocked Assange’s extradition to the US

LONDON – The London High Court overturned the first instance ruling issued last January which denied the extradition of Julian Assange from Great Britain to the USA. The appeal of the American legal team, which opposed the no to the delivery of the founder of WikiLeaks on the basis of an alleged danger of suicide linked – according to an expert opinion – to the foreseeable judicial and prison treatment.

It is therefore expected that the case will be returned to the lower court for a new hearing.
