The duel between Lucerne and St.Gallen, which was praised as a 50:50 game, resulted in a narrow 1-0 home win. Thibault Klidjé first fails with his head and then secures the next three points for the FCL.

Serviette – SLO 3:1
Servette further consolidates its position as the second force in the Super League behind the Young Boys. The in-form Geneva team extended their series with a confident 3-1 against Lausanne-Ouchy.
On the way to the third win in a row and the tenth from the last 15 unbeaten games, Servette did not need long to clarify the situation at the Stade de Genève in the Léman derby with the bottom of the table also on the Totomat. In the eleventh minute, Enzo Crivelli headed a cross from Bendeguz Bolla to take the lead, and two minutes later Gaël Ondoua slotted in to make it 2-0.

Both goals – and also the 3-0 by Bendeguz Bolla after an hour – came about with kind support from the opposing defense in the build-up to the game. Before the 1-0 lead, Timothé Cognat intercepted a wayward pass from Giovani Bamba in the offensive third, and before the second goal, Rayan Kadima made a hair-raising bad pass in his own penalty area into the feet of Ondoua.

With the 15th unbeaten game in a row, Servette further extended his club record. The fact that the Grenats had to let go of the league’s top goalscorer, Chris Bedia, during the winter break has almost been forgotten after ten points in four games. Alban Ajdini (64th) only scored for the guests when the defeat was practically certain.
