SAINT PETERSBURG – The so-called “special military operation” certifies an end, yes, that of Moscow’s attempts to integrate with the West. From now on, Russia will increasingly look to the East, to China and India. And even if one day it will return to dialogue with Europe, it will no longer be the same. Speaking on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, after more than three months of silence, is the political scientist Fyodor Lukjanov, research director of the Valdai Discussion Club, a think tank close to the Kremlin, as well as president of the Council for foreign policy and defense and director of Russia in Global Affairs.
Lukjanov: “Moscow will focus on China and India, the idea of a common space with the EU is dead”
