The seventh edition of Metropolitan Cycle for Equality in Music and the Arts, They are artists, is preparing for a new edition in which it will once again feature exceptional programming that will highlight female talent on the cultural scene. The event, recognized for its commitment to diversity and equality in the cultural industries and for honoring women creators, returns one more year to celebrate and promote the creativity of women artists in the metropolitan area of A Coruña.
The first concert that will open this new edition will be that of Maika Makovski, who will take the stage at the Teatro Colón in A Coruña on April 18. A multidisciplinary artist, the Palmesina is one of the leading figures of the contemporary music scene, and in the Herculean city she will display her musical talent. It will not be the only performance that will take place in April, since the Venezuelan singer-songwriter Georgina will offer an intimate performance on April 11 at the Mardi Gras Room, an event that will serve as a presentation party for this seventh edition and in which attendees will be able to participate in the raffle for tickets and in the bidding for exclusive objects of the cycle. The month’s programming will end on April 27 in the Factory Auditorium of the Oleiros City Council, where GUADA will present his latest album exclusively in Galicia “Leather”. Tickets for this last concert can be purchased the same day as the concert at the Auditorium box office.
Much of the programming will be revealed next Wednesday, April 3 at 12:30, in an event that will take place at the Teatro Colón and will be attended by artists, representatives of the city councils and the different collaborating entities.
