Around 1:40 p.m., the remote control of train traffic fell out in large parts of the country. This applied in Greater Oslo, the areas south and west of the capital, and in Southern and Western Norway.
As a result, all trains in large parts of the country stood still. For the areas around Drammen and in the south-west, the disconnection lasted for just over half an hour before traffic could start up again around 14:15.
It then took another 20 minutes before the signals were back on the entire railway.
However, it must be expected that the stoppage will lead to major delays throughout the afternoon. This can spread and affect trains in large parts of the country. Certain departures may also be cancelled.
Follow the traffic and find information about your departure on the train companies’ apps and websites, or on Bane NOR’s app NOW.
