BEIJING – Duterte’s reign ends. That of the Marcos begins again. After a landslide victory in last month’s elections, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr has officially taken office as the new president of the Philippines. The 64-year-old son of the former dictator was sworn in at the National Museum of the capital Manila this morning in front of hundreds of local and foreign dignitaries.
