Mario Durán Declares Victory in San Salvador Centro Municipality Elections

Without official data released by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) yet, Mario Durán, the New Ideas candidate for San Salvador Centro, has declared himself the winner of the municipal elections held on Sunday.
In a statement posted on his social media, Durán expressed his gratitude to the Salvadoran people for giving him the opportunity to serve and promised to continue working tirelessly for the capital and the entire San Salvador Centro district.
Although the official results are not yet available, the preliminary results on the TSE portal showed favoritism towards Durán before the closing of the polls on Sunday night.
Durán, who ran a confident campaign despite facing challenges such as the delayed construction of the San Miguelito market, received congratulations from his party, Nuevas Ideas, for his expected victory in the mayoral race.
As the votes continue to be counted and finalized, the residents of San Salvador Centro await the official announcement of Mario Durán as their next mayor.
