Persita Tangerang drew 1-1 against Persebaya in the match Liga 1 at Indomilk Arena, Tangerang, Friday (23/2) afternoon.
In the seventh minute, Iqbal fired a kick from outside the penalty box which was blocked by the Persita goalkeeper.
In the 15th minute, Toha’s long-range shot was blocked by the Persebaya goalkeeper.

In the 45th minute Persita managed to break the deadlock through an own goal scored by Paulo Henrique.
It started with a free kick that Bae Sin Yeong was able to block by Persebaya goalkeeper Andhika Ramadhana. Unfortunately, Andhika’s blocked ball bounced off the feet of his own teammate, Paulo Henrique, until the ball went into the goal.
In the 76th minute Paulo Henrique managed to atone for his mistake by scoring the equalizer at 1-1 for Persebaya.
Paulo Henrique scored a goal after continuing a pass from Muhamad Kasim Botan.
In the 83rd minute Paulo Henrique threatened Persita’s goal again with a hard kick. But his shot was still blocked by the Persita goalkeeper.
Until the match ended no additional goals were scored. The Persita vs Persebaya match ended 1-1.
This result made Persebaya rise from 13th position to 12th in the League 1 standings by packing 31 points from 25 matches.
Meanwhile, Persita remains in 15th place with 27 points from the 25 matches played.
