The course of the match
Atalanta made a surprise by winning first. In the 11th minute, Marseille’s defense was chaotic and lost shape. Koopmeiners then sent a breakthrough pass for Scamacca who was ready to shoot to the bottom left. Gol! Marseille 0-1 Atalanta.
In the 20th minute, Marseille equalized. Receiving Kondogbia’s pass, Mbemba fired a rocket from the edge of the penalty box, the ball hit the post and scored! Marseille 1-1 Atalanta.
A 1-1 draw closed the first 45 minutes of the duel. Continue to the second half and both teams still maintain a similar tempo. Atalanta threatened more, Lookman replaced Scamacca.
Marseille then started to press when the match passed the 70th minute. Ounahi had a shooting opportunity in the 73rd minute, but the ball still hit the post.
