Borussia Dortmund advance to the final Liga Champions after beating Paris Saint Germain 1-0 in the semi-final second leg. Die Borussen progressed 2-0 on aggregate.
PSG vs Dortmund presented at the Parc des Princes in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, Wednesday (8/5/2024) early morning WIB. No goals were scored throughout the first half.
Dortmund broke the deadlock in the 50th minute through Mats Hummels. The score 1-0 for the visitors lasted until the final whistle sounded.

This result ensures Dortmund qualify for the Champions League final with a 2-0 aggregate advantage, after beating PSG 1-0 in the first leg at Signal Iduna Park. The German representative returned to the Champions League final for the first time since 2013.
The Course of the Match
PSG stepped on the gas from the start of the match in order to score an aggregate equalizer. Kylian Mbappe’s half-volley in the sixth minute was saved by Gregor Kobel.
The home team continued to press Dortmund’s defense until entering the 25th minute. Die Borussen’s back row meeting is still difficult to dismantle for Ousmane Dembele cs.
Dortmund actually threatened with a counter-attack scheme in the 36th minute. Karim Adeyemi ran with the ball into the penalty box before kicking it towards the goal. The ball was pushed over by Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG created a chance in the 41st minute. Vitinha’s long-range shot went straight to Gregor Kobel. The ball fell again before being secured by Kobel.

PSG continued to play attackingly into the second half. Warren Zaire-Emery’s volley near the Dortmund goal hit the post in the 49th minute.
GOL! It was Dortmund who managed to break the deadlock a minute later. Mats Hummels listed his name on the scoreboard.
Hummels headed in Julian Brandt’s corner from the left side. Dortmund lead 1-0 and are 2-0 up on aggregate.
PSG increased the intensity of their attacks to catch up. Dortmund’s line of four defenders appeared disciplined in breaking Les Parisiens’ attacks.
Nuno Mendes got a golden opportunity in the 62nd minute. The ball shot from outside the penalty box hit the Dortmund goal post.
PSG threatened again in the 84th minute. Marquinhos’ header in front of the goal missed the target.
Vitinha almost scored three minutes later. His hard shot from outside the penalty box hit Dortmund’s goalpost again.
The home team failed to balance their position until the match ended. Score 1-0 for Dortmund was the final result of the match.
