Mbappe and Real Madrid are negotiating a contract

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe are negotiating the recruitment of the French player on a free transfer this summer.

Both parties are optimistic that a transfer agreement will be completed soon, sources told ESPN.

Last week Mbappe reportedly told PSG that he would leave on a free transfer once his contract expires at the end of this season.

He has decided his future is in Madrid.

Last month Madrid officially proposed to the French national team player, when PSG was still hoping to convince their star player to stay in Paris.

Madrid now hopes to complete the deal in the near future, but the contract has not yet been signed because a number of details still need to be finalized.

Mbappe was named as a substitute when PSG won 2-0 against Nantes in a Ligue 1 match on Saturday. He scored from a penalty kick in the 78th minute.

He also scored a goal when PSG won 2-0 over Real Sociedad in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League last week.

The striker has scored a total of 32 goals in all competitions this season, although he continues to be busy with news of his move to another team.
