Mélenchon: “France and Italy are wrong about former terrorists: extradition is a useless revenge”

PARIS – “My maternal family comes from Ustica, Sicily, so I certainly cannot be accused of being anti-Italian, on the contrary I am convinced that Italy must be France’s main ally in Europe”. Having said the premise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon immediately shows that he disagrees with the decision of Emmanuel Macron who gave the green light to the extradition procedure for ten Italians convicted of terrorist offenses, one of which is still on the run.
