Mexico, defeat at the polls: for the coalition of President Lopez Obrador now more difficult reforms

Bad defeat in Mexico for Juntos Hacemos Historia, the governing coalition between Morena, Verdi and Partido del Trabajo. In Sunday’s vote he obtained 279 seats in the Chamber of Deputies of the 313 that he had so far. It keeps the relative majority but loses the absolute majority. It therefore becomes more difficult for President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to carry out those structural reforms that involve changing the Constitution.
