It was THE news par excellence: Michael Wendler’s wife Laura Müller has now joined the ranks of musicians and released her first song “Superstar”, which, however, was released after the release was panned by critics and colleagues.
And also with her husband Michael Wendler There has been some need for discussion for some time now – namely because of his concerts. Two of his appearances on international soil were canceled, now the pop singer is only looking forward to one: his gig in Oberhausen.
The 51-year-old makes another announcement about this online.
Michael Wendler attacks
Michael Wendler with his wife Laura currently lives in Florida, will be on stage at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen in September 2025. At least that’s what the plan says. And even though critics are currently trying to prevent the concert with a recently launched petition, the pop star is optimistic.
He now writes on Facebook: “Arena Oberhausen, here we come. Nothing can stop what’s coming… Even though they tried everything… With censorship, with online petitions, with press shitstorms, with intimidation and lies.”
Wendler proudly announces that almost 3,000 tickets have already been sold so far.
The situation is different for Switzerland and Austria. After his concert in Switzerland had to be canceled because the organizer went bankrupt, the Austrian date was also canceled because the purchase of the expensive technology was not worth it for one concert alone.
Now Michael Wendler is doing everything he can to prepare for Oberhausen.
After the singer repeatedly made a name for himself with crude conspiracy theories against the federal government in the past, more and more organizers withdrew and no longer wanted to let him perform in this country. It remains to be seen whether Wendler will actually make his comeback on the Oberhausen stage next year.
