Students can now request an exemption from the registration fee for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2024. The deadline began this Monday (15/4) and runs until 26/4, when interested parties must make the request by accessing the Participant Page with the unique Gov.br login.
“Participation in Enem should be widely encouraged among high school graduates as another possibility in each person’s life projects,” says Rosely Lima, director of High School at Minas Gerais State Department of Education (SEE/MG).
Students in their final year of high school, those who completed their entire high school education in a public school or as a full scholarship student in a private network, and candidates in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, registered in the Single Registry for government social programs, are eligible to request an exemption. federal (CadÚnico).
Students in the 3rd year of high school who receive the Pé-de-Meia program are also entitled to an exemption.
Candidates who requested an exemption in the previous edition of the exam and did not attend the two test days must justify their absence in order to request an exemption for Enem 2024.
O notice published by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) contains all the necessary guidelines for justifying and requesting the exemption. The result will be announced on 5/13.
In addition to paying attention to the opportunity to request a fee exemption, the director of Secondary Education at SEE/MG reminds the importance of students taking advantage of the actions offered by the secretariat. One of these initiatives is the Estudos Play platform, which offers free innovative resources and will be made available to around 185 thousand high school students.
In addition, simulations and classes are planned in schools, the distribution of a supplementary notebook for teachers responsible for the Life Project, and socio-emotional support for 3rd year students.
Encouraging participation
SEE/MG has also developed several initiatives to encourage access to basic documentation, recognizing it as a fundamental and essential right of students. Among these actions is the campaign “Young+Citizen, your CPF in hand”which offers guidance on how to regularize this document, as it is mandatory to request fee exemption and register for Enem.
“The CPF is not only essential for enrolling in Enem, but it is also a citizen’s right. Therefore, it is extremely important to mobilize schools in the campaign, especially at this time before the beginning of the fee exemption request period. for Enem”, highlights Rosely Lima.
Furthermore, the department has emphasized to students the importance of ensuring that their documentation is in order to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Federal Government, such as the Pé-de-Meia program.
Students who receive this benefit and participate in the two Enem application days, including possible reapplications in exceptional situations, will be eligible to receive an extra, single installment of R$200 of the Enem Incentive, which will be deposited into their digital Caixa accounts. .
