The American designer Virgil Abloh died at the age of 41, struck down by a cancer he had been fighting for several years.
He was the art director at Louis Vuitton, LVMH group, and founder of the Milan-based Off White brand.
This was announced by Lvmh in a tweet. “We are in shock at this terrible news. Virgil was not only a brilliant designer, a visionary. He was a beautiful soul and a man of great wisdom ”, emphasizes Bernard Arnault, the patron of LVMH.
“The whole family of Lvmh joins me to express their deep sadness. Let’s think of those she loved, who have lost a husband, a father, a brother, a friend today ”, adds Arnault.
