Known for her work with lettering – which has decorated the homes of Fernanda Souza, Bruna Tavares, Larissa Manoela, Sabrina Sato, @karolstefanini is present with its giant mural art at Campinas Decor 2024, which takes place from March 29th to May 26th, at the Relógio Building, in Pátio Ferroviário.
The mural was painted on a wall measuring more than 8 meters wide and 3 meters high in the space of the event’s master sponsor, Cortag.
Karol was inspired by the brand’s tools in a warm, welcoming and even fun way, with drawings and lettering of words that represent Cortag’s vision, mission and ideals.

“I left aside the standardization and rigor of technical drawings, which are super common in this area, to make room for a more playful representation of the tools. The art brings the dynamism of arrows that direct the viewer’s gaze in an area almost 100% filled with drawings”, highlights the artist.
About the artist
Graduated in Design from Facamp, the artist gained notoriety through social media when she began posting letterings with phrases from songs, poems and famous quotes. The work went viral and spread across the country from north to south.
Although she has been around pencils and paints since she was a child – her mother encouraged her to take part in crafts and painting courses – Stefanini only discovered her true vocation when she was going through a delicate professional moment. Hired by an advertising agency as soon as she graduated, it didn’t take her long to realize that waking up early and being forced to perform robotic tasks in minutes wasn’t her thing. The lack of perspective for the future opened the door to depression. In an effort to help her, her husband gave her a kit of drawing materials. The gift was responsible for his debut on social media.

Born in Itapira, in the interior of São Paulo, granddaughter of sugarcane cutters, she was the first person in her family to achieve higher education. Her origins gave her the determination and perseverance to move forward. Owner of a happy, irreverent, colorful and rule-free style, the artist admits that the essence of her art is what her heart overflows with.
Throughout her nine years of professional art, she has created thousands of works and none of them are the same for clients TikTok, Instagram, Swarovski, Moleskine, Adobe, Nestlé, NBA, Netshoes, Disney, Rede Globo, Apple, Faber Castell , Astra, Tilibra, Weleda, Grupo Boticário, Multi, Santa Lolla, 3 Corações, intimissimi, Valisere, Companhia Marítima, Portobello, Cortag, Fujifilm, Shoulder, Record TV, Beeducation, Natura, among others.
Her work was also commissioned by Fernanda Souza, Bruna Tavares, Larissa Manoela, Sabrina Sato, Luccas Neto, Taís Araújo, Ana Furtado and Marquinhos (player of the Brazilian football team), who commissioned the artist to create personalized walls in their homes.
In addition to murals, Stefanini’s talent also illustrated stones, wood, glass, metal, helmets, suitcases, cell phone cases, coffee machines, sneakers, toilet seats (which earned him a collab with the Astra brand) and much more.
“My biggest dream is to travel the world painting murals, and inspire people to live what they truly love. I want to show that it is possible to make a living from art”, declares the artist.
