It is Sunday February 25 will start in room 2 of the Madrid Press Palace the first installment of the cycle Music Talkswhich once a month will bring together journalists, musicians and specialists around some great visual document from the history of rock.
Alfonso CardenalProgram Director Sound Sofa, is the presenter and coordinator of this series of talks that will delve into great moments and characters in the history of music to learn about the causes, context and stories around the songs that marked different generations. In this first talk the guest will be the musician, producer and writer Igor Pascual (Loquillo, Babylon Chat), with whom we will talk about the musical and cultural explosion experienced in England in the nineties.
After the talk, the screening of the documentary will take place in the same room. “Supersonic”a story directed by Mat Whitecross that narrates the unexpected rise to the rock Olympus of Oasis, the band led by the Gallagher brothers. Released in 2017, this documentary perfectly captures the climate that existed in England in those years and how Oasis became the band that best represented all that.
