The Cooperativa Autotrasporti Nuova Camp Veloci (NCV), a pillar in Bologna logistics with 40 years of experience, has reached a decisive moment with the approval of the 2024-2027 industrial plan. This marks a significant turning point, with a generational change at the helm of the cooperative and the introduction of new key figures.

During the Shareholders’ Meeting on 11 May, the 2023 budget and the new industrial plan were approved and the new members of the Board of Directors were appointed. Samanta Zucca was elected President of the Board of Directors, taking over from Federico Parrini after four decades of leadership. Zucca, with extensive cooperative experience and a background in strategic roles, was previously vice president of NCV. Immacolata Campolo was elected Vice President of the Board of Directors, confirming the importance of women’s contribution in the new direction of the cooperative.

Budget 2023 represents a transition year for NCV. Despite a slight decline in revenue compared to 2022, the cooperative recorded an increase compared to 2019, pre-pandemic. This decline was caused by the termination of unprofitable contracts, helping to improve EBITDA and reduce financial debt.

Despite the decline in revenues, the 2023 budget showed a significant optimization of company productivity. Despite an operating loss, various efficiency measures contributed to stabilizing the financial situation.

The 2024-2027 industrial plan foresees significant growth, with an average annual rate of 12% compared to 2023, aiming to reach revenues of 50 million euros by 2027. NCV will focus on the consolidation of the customer portfolio, the acquisition of new customers and technological innovation, with a particular focus on creating value for members and improving the ESG impact of the cooperative.

NCV has also renewed its commitment to ethics and legality, with the introduction of new anti-corruption and disciplinary policies and the achievement of the Legality Rating. The cooperative continues its path of compliance with the Metropolitan Charter for Ethical Logistics, demonstrating its commitment to the metropolitan development of Bologna and the well-being of the community.
