New member joins the National Commission for the Defense of Competition

Decree 363/2024 of April 25, 2024 designated the lawyer María Paula Molina as a member of the National Commission for the Defense of Competition (CNDC) as of March 1 of this year.

The authority of the CNDC is made up of a president and four members. On January 30, 2024, by Decree 100/2024, the Master in Economics Alexis Pirchio was appointed as president and the economist Florencia Bogo, the Mg. Lucas Trevisani Vespa and Dr. Eduardo Montamat, as members of the CNDC. The appointment of the fourth member completes the appointment of the authorities of the National Commission.

María Paula Molina is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires, has a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Universidad Austral, a Postgraduate Degree in Management for Sustainable Economic Development from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, and completed the Advanced Program in Regulation and Defense of Competition of the Torcuato di Tella University. She has held positions in different organizations of the National Public Administration, such as the National Institute of Industrial Property and the National Social Security Administration. At the CNDC, she served as Coordinator of the Investigations and Audit Area and as an advisor and rapporteur of the committee from 2007 to 2016.
