The best basketball player in the world, Nikola Jokic, led the Denver Nuggets team to victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in the 40th match of the season for the current NBA champions. Like many matches in his career, Nikola also marked this one with an unreal assist that the whole of America is talking about after the game!
At the end of the second quarter, when Denver had a convincing lead, Jokić made the best move of the match. He received the ball a few meters from the basket, but with his back to the hoop. Nikola Jokić had a completely different, but equally spectacular assist in the previous match against Denver, when he “from the first” threw a pass across the entire field. Then he was honored by Michael Porter Jr., who was the fastest in the counterattack at the very beginning of the match. And because of things like this, Nikola Jokić is said to be the best playmaker among centers.
In the match against the Pelicans, he made 14 assists, and this season he is averaging 9.2 assists per match. According to that parameter, his best was the previous season, when he recorded 9.8 assists per match in the league part of the competition.
