Muratov himself told this on the Telegram page of his newspaper. “They threw acetone paint at me, the train compartment is all smeared. My eyes burn terribly. I will try to wash it away, ”he wrote in the posted message along with a photo of him appearing covered in red paint and another of his compartment smeared.

According to what Muratov said, the attacker shouted: “Here, Muratov, for our boys.”
