North Korea must be ready for both dialogue and confrontation with the US, in particular for the second: this is the analysis carried out by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

The KCNA news agency reported the “detailed analysis” carried out by the North Korean leader in the light of the changing of the guard at the White House, with the inauguration of the new American administration of Joe Biden.

To defend the country’s “dignity, interests and security”, Kim stressed “the need to prepare for both dialogue and confrontation, especially the latter”.
