The story is based on David Nicholl’s best-selling novel from 2009. Ambika Mod (29) plays Emma opposite “The White Lotus” actor Leo Woodall (27) in the role of Dexter Mayhew.
The British series has become a big talking point in social media.
But what perhaps not everyone has noticed is that “Rådebank” actress Mathilde Storm is on the cast list in one of the episodes. And that in a steamy hot scene against Woodall.
– I think the sex scene was a lot of fun, and when I look back on it, I think I could have gone even crazier. I regret a little that I didn’t do it, says Storm See and listen.
Playing holiday flirt
“En dag”, which is the Norwegian title, is about Emma (played by Mod) and Dexter (Woodall). The two meet for the first time at the graduation party after college. What could have been a love story instead develops into a close but not problem-free friendship – which spans many years.
Along the way, Woodall’s character in particular has many sexual adventures, and it is in one of these that the Norwegian actor (and artist) appears – in the role of the Scandinavian summer flirt Tove.
Precisely these scenes are among the most piquant in the entire series.

Storm tells See and listen – who first mentioned the matter – that she secured the role a few years ago. It happened after Netflix had searched for a Scandinavian girl for a fierce nude scene.
The video she filmed of herself and sent to the streaming channel convinced the producers, and the filming took place in Rome in 2022.
Storm, who is on holiday abroad, tells VG that she “lived the best life” during the week the recording lasted.
– Fin sex-scene
She lives well with the fact that “the whole world” can now see her without a thread.
– Beforehand, there was a lot of talk that I should imagine having a “huge orgasm”. Those were the words they used. But when I saw it on TV, it was cuter than I had imagined in my head. I think it was a nice sex scene, she says.

Storm thinks it is meaningful to be able to help normalize the body and sex. And she is proud to have been fearless enough to take on the challenge.
– And I’m proud to do something different. Sex is a normal thing and I’m glad I was able to do it. I haven’t felt very confident about my body and my boobs all my life, but now I can show the world that my body is also sexy.
Both Storm and Woodall were each equipped with artificial genitalia, she with a proper bristle.

– I had thought they were going to show it, but they didn’t, she says, laughing.
Storm and Woodall got to know each other well, and still follow each other on Instagram. But they have no contact today, she says.
– But we had a good friendship in Rome, and we met at the premiere. It was fun.
“One Day” premiered on February 8. Two days later, it ranked number one on the list of the most watched Netflix series in Norway right now.
– Damn difficult
It still reigns there. This week it also moved straight into third place on the list of the most watched series globally on the streaming channel.
– It’s great fun, says Storm, who believes there is “a lot of soul” in the series.
– History deserves attention, and it gives me a lot to be involved in something that matters to people. Love is so damn difficult that there are not enough series about it, says the actor – who does not want to elaborate on his own marital status.
– But I can say that I feel very, very well.
Now Storm – also known from “Innebandykrigerne”, “Ellos eatnu – Let the river live”, “Friends from before” and “The Lioness” – hopes that the “One Day” role will open more doors.
– I love working with plays and new types of roles. So yes, I hope someone finds me interesting, says the 23-year-old, who is also a singer and has over 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
These days, Storm is on a month-long girlfriend’s holiday, right now in Vietnam.
– We have also been to Cambodia and spent “one night in Bangkok”, she explains.
For those who don’t know – “One Day” is the serial version of the film of the same name from 2011, in which Anne Hathaway (41) and Jim Sturgess (45) played the main roles. VG’s reviewer rolled the dice 3.
