In the super team competition, each nation fielded two jumpers who went through three rounds. The Norwegian duo of Lindvik and Forfang were in second place after two rounds, 4.2 points behind Austria, while Germany followed in third.
– We have to continue the good jumping and see what it takes, said Marius Lindvik to Viaplay before the third round.
It lasted for third place after a dramatic final round.
Lindvik’s jump of 122 meters ensured that Norway took over the lead, 2.3 points ahead of Austria, before the last group had to go over the edge.
Forfang did not make it flap in his jump and landed at 118.5 metres. As a result, Norway came third, 15.6 points behind Austria. Germany was second, just 0.2 points behind Austria after six jumps.
