Emma Stone, from “Poor Creatures”, won the “Best Actress” award at the 2024 Oscars. The event, responsible for rewarding the best in cinema this year, took place this Sunday (10), at the Dolby Theater, in Los Angeles, in the United States.
Emma Stone competed in the category with Annette Bening (“NYAD”), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Sandra Hüller (“Anatomy of a Fall”), Carey Mulligan (“Maestro”), Emma Stone (“Poor Creatures” ).
At the beginning of the ceremony, the actress had a hilarious moment! Distracted backstage, Emma Stone was chatting with other awards guests when “Poor Creatures” won its first award of the night.
Upon realizing that the name of the film was being announced, the actress ran away, avoiding everyone, just to honor the production of which she was part.
In total, the production won four statuettes. In addition to Best Actress, “Poor Creatures” was recognized for Best Hair and Makeup, Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.
