[New Tang Dynasty News from January 2, 2022, Beijing time]On the first day of 2022, 5 provinces in mainland China have newly diagnosed patients with the Chinese Communist virus (COVID-19), and the number of medium- and high-risk areas across the country has increased to 72.
The Chinese Communist Party officially reported that within 24 hours of January 1, 5 provinces in mainland China had newly confirmed cases, 4 in Sichuan Province; 2 cases in Liaoning Province; 2 cases in Shandong Province; 1 case in Zhejiang Province; and 8 cases in Henan Province.
Among them, the first three provinces are all imported cases overseas, and the countries involved include Canada, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. Some cases have become positive for previously asymptomatic infections.
New cases have caused tension in the corresponding area, and strict control measures have been taken urgently. The Beilun District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its subordinate community health service stations in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province were completely closed; 54 bus lines in Beilun District were temporarily suspended, Metro Line 1 was adjusted, and all Ningbo flights to Beijing were cancelled. Within Beilun District (except Xiaogang) All public bicycles are suspended; Beilun Library is closed and Jiufeng Mountain tourist area is closed.
Various counties and districts in Luoyang City, Henan have also taken different measures before. Among them, all trains of Luoyang Metro Line 1 pass non-stop at Gushui Station; buses 318, 320, 320, and 331 are temporarily suspended.
From January 1, 2022, Xin’an County, Luoyang, Henan, the Zhengcun Community and Xigou Village of Zhengcun Town have been adjusted to medium-risk areas. So far, there are two high-risk regions and 70 medium-risk regions across the country.
Two of the high-risk areas are: Chang’an University Community, Xiaozhai Road Street, Yanta District, Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, and Wanwei Village, Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Province. Most of the 70 medium-risk areas are in Xi’an, Shaanxi.
