Palmeiras announced, this Monday (15), the signing of a pre-contract with winger Felipe Anderson, 31 years old. The player is a starter for Lazio, in Italy, and will return to Brazil after 12 years in Europe.

The contract with the São Paulo club will be valid from July 1st and will run until December 31st, 2027. In other words, Felipe Anderson will finish the season normally with Lazio.

Libertadores Champion with Santos

Developed by Santos, where he won the 2011 Libertadores, the winger who plays on both sides of the field was in his third consecutive season with Lazio, the club that bought him from Santos in 2013. His first spell lasted until 2018.

Afterwards, Felipe Anderson also played for West Ham, in England, and Porto, on loan, before returning to Lazio in 2021.

The player has two caps for the main Brazilian team, in addition to having won the gold medal at Rio 2016.

Historical record holder in Lazio

In the current season, Felipe Anderson made 44 appearances for Lazio, scoring five goals and providing seven assists. Since returning to the Italian club, he has played in all of the club’s games, scoring 24 goals.

In fact, the player defends a historic record for the Italian team, with 144 consecutive matches. He surpassed defender Alfredo Monza, who played 124 games in a row at the end of the 1930s.
