The “perfect storm” hits the whole of Latin America. After Covid and the unexpected arrival of inflation, now the consequences of the sanctions on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine are causing tremors that agitate the economies of the region and slow down the recovery on which all states were counting. For 8 days, Panama has been paralyzed by a strike that started from the faculty but soon spread to the aediles and then to students and indigenous people.
