A number of gas stations have made price adjustments as of April 1. Shell, BP and VIVO lowered the selling prices of several types of fuel.
Meanwhile, PT Pertamina (Persero) has decided not to change the price of non-subsidized fuel in April 2024. Thus, the price of Pertamax CS will still be the same as February 2024.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said the decision not to make price changes refers to several aspects, including Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 concerning the formulation of JBU or BBM prices.

“The adjustment to non-subsidized fuel prices is the result of an evaluation by all business entities in accordance with the applicable price formula regulations. Based on price evaluation calculations and taking into account the needs of the community during Ramadan and Idul Fitri, management has decided not to increase prices this April,” said Irto in a written statement, Monday (1/4/2024).
Meanwhile, Shell gas stations did not change the price of Shell Super fuel in Jakarta this April, namely IDR 14,530/liter. However, the price for Shell V-Power fell slightly from IDR 15,370/liter to IDR 15,360/liter.
Shell also reduced the price of Shell V-Power Diesel fuel from the previous IDR 16,140/liter to IDR 15,740/liter. Likewise with Shell V-Power Nitro+ from previously IDR 15,650/liter to IDR 15,570/liter.
Meanwhile, BP gas stations increased the price of BP 92 fuel from the previous IDR 13,990/liter to IDR 14,300/liter. BP Ultimate decreased slightly from the previous IDR 15,370 to IDR 15,360/liter. Then, BP Diesel experienced a decrease from the previous IDR 15,610 to IDR 15,230/liter.
VIVO gas stations have reduced the price of Revvo 90 fuel from the previous IDR 13,300 to IDR 12,800/liter. This means that the price of fuel which has a RON equivalent to Pertalite sold by Pertamina has decreased by IDR 500/liter.
The price of Revvo 92 fuel has also decreased from the previous IDR 14,900 to IDR 14,300/liter. Then, the price of Revvo 95 fell from the previous IDR 15,800 to IDR 15,100/liter.
