Porto do Açu will structure platform ‘dismantling line’ |  Companies

Recently, Petrobras began its program to deactivate more than 50 platforms by 2034 due to the end of oil field production or the useful life of the units. The activity known as decommissioning gained importance for environmental reasons and caught the attention of Porto do Açu. The company signed a contract with the state-owned company to initially carry out the disintegration of three Petrobras equipment and, in parallel, is designing a “dismantling line” for platforms, as a new business unit of the company controlled by Prumo Logística.
