A post published on Real Madrid’s official profile caused tension between Vini Jr. and the club two days before the game against Valencia, in La Liga, on March 2nd. In the post, the Brazilian appears in a representation of human evolution, from monkey to man, which made the player angry and threatened not to enter the field.

The information was published by the website ‘Relevo’ and confirmed by the report from TNT Sports Brasil. After Vini Jr. had access to the publication, Real Madrid took the post offline. The club’s general director, José Ángel Sánchez, was responsible for calming the Brazilian and preventing the crisis from worsening.

In the post, the image included a photo of the Brazilian kissing the Real Madrid shield and below a picture of the group of Israeli DJs Vini Vici, which uses the evolution of man from the monkey as its logo.
