Nettavisen’s reporter at the scene stated that three BMW x5s and a Tesla drove into the area, and that the princess was sitting in the front seat of the Tesla. The latter car is registered at the royal court.

The princess was at the hospital for just under an hour, and just before 10.30 the 20-year-old was observed in the same Tesla on her way out of the National Hospital. According to Nettavisen’s journalist on the spot, Crown Princess Mette-Marit (50) was also there.

Nettavisen has tried to get a comment from the Castle. They have not yet responded to Nettavisen’s inquiries.

– A good sign

Royal house expert in Nettavisen, Tove Taalesen, says that it can be considered good news that the princess is visiting the king:

– It is a good sign that Princess Ingrid Alexandra is visiting the king before she leaves to return to service in the Armed Forces. She wants to meet grandfather and get an assurance that he is in good hands, she tells Nettavisen.

– The two have a close and strong relationship, a friendship that has developed as the princess has grown. After all, they share the same fate. There are not many people who can understand the princess’s challenges, thoughts, doubts and fears about what will come in the future. But King Harald can. He has once been in the same position, she continues.

– The official calendar on our website is always up to date. In the event of any changes to the programme, the websites will be updated immediately, writes communications manager Guri Varpe in a text message to Nettavisen.

In the first service

In mid-January, the princess started her first service in the engineer battalion at Skjold camp in Indre Troms. The princess will be in the military for one year.

Sunday evening wrote The daily newspaper that the princess had a weekend leave, but it was unclear whether it was for family reasons or a normal leave from the military.

NTB and NRK were allowed to come in and see what it was like in the military for the princess, the day after she started. The press got to see her take part in a lesson where she learned about the different parts of a weapon, and how to disassemble and reassemble it.

– I have no regrets, answered the princess.
