The fastest female skiers in the world, including Elveda Muzaferia (24), moved from Italy to Norway where, this weekend, one downhill and one Super-G are scheduled.

However, they were greeted by rainy and foggy weather, due to which the first official downhill training session was canceled this morning. The second training session would have to be held tomorrow, and in case that doesn’t happen, the organizers told the participants during tonight’s meeting that all tickets are open.

Given that the downhill race cannot be held without at least one official training, and the same conditions do not apply to the Super-G, in Kvitfjel we could just watch a double competition in this discipline. As reported, if the downhill race is canceled on Saturday, the Norwegian ski center could host Super-G adventures on Sunday and Monday.

In any case, it remains for us to follow the events on the track on Friday, March 1 from 11 a.m., and the official downhill training, if it is held, will be the best in BiH. Alpine skier will start with number 28.

Let’s remind, Muzaferia is in the fight for precious points and another historic feat. In the races so far, she collected a total of 102 points in the World Cup. In the Super-G discipline, she won 33 and 69 points in the downhill. In the overall standings, the discipline currently ranks 29th and 23rd, and is a step towards the certification of the World Cup finals in both disciplines.
