The protagonists of “Music”a romantic comedy recently released on Prime Video, features a couple in the plot, but during the filming of the film, they ended up becoming a couple in real life.
“It’s safe to say there was chemistry from the moment we met and it certainly showed on screen. The lines started to blur between Rudy and Isabella and Rudy and Cami,” Rudy said in an interview with People.
“I don’t think any of us expected it to be as intense and move as quickly as it did,” he added.
“It felt like I had known him a lot longer than I had before, because we understood things about each other that I think are hard for other people to understand,” Camila said.
Both Mancuso and Mendes are children of Brazilian mothers. In fact, the actor’s mother is in the film’s cast.
The relationship began in July 2022, during filming. They revealed that the approach came with excuses to talk about the film.
Rudy wrote, directed and acted in the production, while Camila was executive producer and the protagonist’s romantic partner.
The couple began their relationship in 2023, on Saint Valentine’s Day, the date on which Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the United States. Both made a post on social media.
