Felinos and the Machine made modifications for their match in Ciudad Universitaria in the Clausura 2024 Liguilla
Pumas and Cruz Azul made modifications to their regular lineups for the first leg of the Clausura 2024 Quarterfinals. Some forced and others by technical decision, Gustavo Lema and MartĆn Anselmi faced the first key at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario.
In the case of Lema and the Pumas, the most significant loss was that of Nathan Silva, who was sent off in the Play-in duel against Pachuca and will miss the first leg against the Machine. His place was taken by Pablo Bennevendo, who regularly played as a right back.
Meanwhile, that band was taken by JesĆŗs Rivas and the same strategist opted for AdriĆ”n Aldrete at the back, in order to avoid the attacks of Uriel Antuna in that sector.

Accompanied in midfield will be Ulises Rivas with JosĆ© Caicedo, as well as Piero Quispe and CĆ©sar āChinoā Huerta, while Rogelio Funes Mori will serve as a reference in the attack instead of Guillermo MartĆnez.
For his part, MartĆn Anselmi also modified his approach for the first 90 minutes to be held in Ciudad Universitaria, since the strategist of the light blue team started Rodrigo Huescas and Gonzalo Piovi, who was injured.
Anselmi sent Kevin Mier to the goal and then a line of 5 defenders with Huescas as wingback on the right, Willer Ditta, Carlos Salcedo and Piovi in āāthe center, as well as Camilo CĆ”ndido as wingback on the left.
