The Russian president’s words on relations between the two countries during a forum at Moscow University
“Italy has always been close to us, I remember how I was welcomed by you, I always felt at home”: this is the response of the Russian president Vladimir Putin to a student during a forum entitled “Strong ideas for new times” underway at Moscow University.
To the student’s question (who would be called Irene Cecchini), Putin responded by interacting with her, praising Milan and recalling a recent trip to Italy: «a beautiful place, an industrialized region of Italy. It is truly an Italian province that works.”
