Qatargate, procedure started for the waiver of the immunity of Cozzolino and Tarabella

BRUSSELS – The president of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola announced the launch of an “urgency” procedure for the lifting of the immunity of two MEPs involved in the international corruption scandal dubbed Qatargate. It is the Belgian socialist Marc Tarabella and the MEP of the Pd Andrew Cozzolino.
