The world premiere of “Queen Rock Montreal”which will show the performance of the legendary band Queen in the Canadian city of Montreal in 1981, comes to Imax starting tomorrow January 18 and for a limited time.
The cinemas IMAX –hand in hand with Pathé Live–have announced the premiere of “Queen Rock Montreal” which will be screened in four hundred theaters around the world for only four days. In Spain it can be enjoyed in three cities: Madrid, Mallorca y Barcelona.
This new feature film is the perfect opportunity to experience British rock group Queen’s fourth Montreal Forum. The recording of the concert dates back to 1981, when they sang in a stadium for 18,000 people in full swing of success two consecutive nights, selling out tickets, as expected.
In collaboration with Mercury Studios y Queen Films This screening has been achieved, which marks the first time that one of the most important bands in the world will perform on the largest movie screens. And it is the opportunity to see Queen like never seen before, in a spectacular immersive concert experience, up front and, for the first time, digitally remastered in image and sound quality with IMAX.
