Rabona Mobile has reached an agreement with Vodafone Italia to resolve the dispute that caused the well-known disservices that have been affecting the virtual operator’s customers for over a year. The agreement, according to Rabona, extinguishes any mutual claims between the two companies and demonstrates its “structural and financial solidity” and its desire to continue in the telecommunications market.
What will happen now to Rabona Mobile customers? At the moment, the only services available to Rabona Mobile customers are incoming calls and receiving SMS. Rabona Mobile is waiting for a new operator code to be able to offer its services on a new network. Customers will have 180 days to activate an offer with another operator and keep their phone number.
Despite the disruptions on the Vodafone network, Rabona launched on January 2, 2024 new international communication services with the brand “Rabona Connect”, which offers eSIM and global connection packages.
Rabona Mobile customers should evaluate offers from other operators and choose the one that best suits your needs. If they wish to keep their phone number, they will need to activate an offer with another operator, as specified above, within 180 days.
However, the situation remains complex for Rabona Mobile customers, who have suffered disruptions for over a year. The agreement with Vodafone represents a step forward, but it remains to be seen whether Rabona Mobile will be able to find a new network partner and revive its business.
