Jakarta (ANTARA) – Rans Nusantara FC secured one point when they met Barito Putera after drawing 1-1 in Week 31 of the Indonesian League 1 at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, Wednesday.

In this match, Rans Nusantara FC equalized through Kenshiro Daniels’ goal after Barito Putera had previously taken the lead through Renan Alves, according to Indonesian League records.

This draw made Rans Nusantara FC drop to 14th position in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 35 points from 31 matches, while Barito Putera is in ninth place with 42 points.

Statistically, Rans Nusantara FC dominated the match by recording 66 percent of ball possession and taking a total of 21 kicks.

In this match, Barito managed to steal the lead in the 11th minute after Mike Ott’s free kick was converted into a goal by Renan Alves’ header so the score changed to 1-0.

Nine minutes later, Marcko Merauje was able to send a cross into the Barito penalty box which was headed by Kenshiro Daniels so that Rans was able to equalize 1-1.

In the remaining time of the first half the two often relied on crosses, but until halftime the score remained 1-1.

Entering the second half, Rans got the first chance through Kenshiro’s kick, but it was blocked by goalkeeper Barito Halid.

Next, it was Barito’s turn to have a chance through Rizky Pora’s kick, but the ball was pushed over by goalkeeper Rans Hilmansyah.

Hilmansyah made another save after being able to ward off a hard free kick taken by Renan Alves.

Towards the end of the match, Rans had a golden opportunity through Adi Irfan’s kick, but the ball was cleared by defender Charli De Murga, so the score remained at 1-1 until the final whistle sounded.
