The other evening I went to the cinema, before going in I wanted to eat something and under the arcades of Piazza Statuto, I found a small, very basic place where I was attracted by the fact that they cooked ramen.
I therefore decided to enter, I was greeted by a very un-oriental environment, in fact, not at all oriental, rather aseptic and poorly cared for. But the owner’s kindness immediately conveyed a pleasant atmosphere.
Sitting at the table, I was immediately struck by a menu full of dishes: from sushi to ravioli, from baozi to themeyaki… but what interested me was the possibility of choosing how to prepare the dish of ramen or udon which could be in broth , sautéed or in sesame sauce, the main ingredient could be meat or vegetarian and you could decide whether to make it spicy or not.
The bowl I chose was udon sautéed with beef and vegetables, a winning choice. Tasty but at the same time delicate, with crunchy vegetables and tasty meat. Excellent cooking and top quality ingredients and, above all, generous portions were evident. Home cooking was perceived.
A recommended place, especially if you are passing through, in my case having to go to the cinema but suitable for a lunch break, with precise and fast service. Price not excessive, a perfect relationship with quality. Also suitable for vegetarians, as they have various dishes dedicated to them.
