Rebel Wilson reveals she had sex for the first time when she was 35. Through this private revelation, she says she wants to encourage others.

“People can wait until they’re ready or wait until they’re a little more mature,” Wilson tells the US site, adding “I think that could be a positive message. Of course you don’t have to wait until you’re like I’m in my thirties, but as a young person you shouldn’t allow yourself to be put under pressure.”
She included her very private revelation in her upcoming book to give younger people in particular the feeling that “not everyone has to lose their virginity as a teenager.” In the same breath, she describes herself as a “late bloomer” and reports that in the past, especially as a teenager, she avoided questions about this topic because it “embarrassed her.” She also once lied and told her best friend that she lost her virginity at 23 “just to avoid the questions.”

She didn’t explore her sexuality until late
The actress, who is known for the “Pitch Perfect” trilogy and the comedy “Bridesmaids” among other things, also revealed to “People”: “If I had been born 20 years later, I probably would have explored my sexuality more.” It was only after her father’s death that she began to open up more and develop feelings for a woman.
Wilson is now engaged to fashion and jewelry designer Ramona Agruma. The couple had their first child in November 2022. Daughter Royce Lillian was born by a surrogate mother. “I can’t describe the love I have for her, she is an amazing miracle,” Wilson wrote on Instagram at the time.
